The Tale of
Dragon Wolf
Among the diverse realms of Mystical
Willow Grove, Dragon Wolf is perhaps the most turbulent and mystifying. A
largely uncharted land set aside by Grandmum Willow (in her considerable
prudence and aspiration to provide a tranquil kingdom for her granddaughter),
Dragon Wolf is home to the more volatile creatures who defy any leadership or
tranquility.
The terrain itself is as varied as the beings who inhabit it. Dare you walk the
Desert of Storms - with its alien, sand-dwelling beasts and Tombs of the Dead?
Or pass through the Howling Woods - where one would not want to be caught during
a full moon? The most daring may risk a journey through Shadow City - there the
blackness hides fierce and hostile beings and repels all that is light and
innocent. Perhaps instead, a traveler could head west and trek the beaches of
Sentinel City - although to stroll too close to the waves after twilight would
be quite reckless.
The Isle of Dragon Wolf beckons - but beware the more hostile residents or
prepare yourself for battle. Do not expect the order and harmony of the Grove to
reach it’s murkier corners. Chaos reigns here. And yet….
There are mysteries to solve in Dragon Wolf, and a bold explorer just might
stumble upon a Castle made of gems or catch a glimpse of a glorious creature
that shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow. There is challenge, but there
is also opportunity. Would you trek alongside a magnificent Centaur? Shall you
hunt riches and glory - or perhaps try to find the great Lupine beast that roams
the isle as he seeks a creature even more elusive? You may chance to befriend a
Lesser Dragon or perhaps one of the friendlier Imps, or even find yourself in
the company of an Elemental, for there ARE those who desire the wildness of this
realm yet take no part in the strife. There are those that hunger to tame the
Dragon...dare you?

The Story of
Mystical Willow Grove
"Somewhere on the fringe of
what is and all that can be, shrouded in protection by the mists of time and
invisible to all but the purest of heart and greatest of imagination, lies an
enchanted island haven. Known simply as “Willow Grove” in honor of it’s
matriarch, the sage and gentle Grandmum Willow, it is a land of myth and legend,
a land both light and dark, yet also a land where peace holds reign.
Neither the eye of man nor his vast technology can reach into it’s realm,
although it hovers all around his world. Only those deemed worthy and in need of
it’s enchantments may enter. The Grove is the beloved creation of the Gods and
Goddesses, the residence of Fae and Familiar, home to Mer-folk and
Were-creature, land of the Druid and Dragon to mention but a few. Those
deserving, and lucky, souls of the mortal world who catch the eye of a good
hearted native can and may be transported via portal from the world of human to
the world of the mystical.
From the cobblestone streets of Willow Proper to the shadowed corners where the
dark beings dwell, all manner of creature live and thrive under the benevolent
rule of Grandmum Willow. Even the more sinister beings have their place and
those who wish to rise to the cry of battle shall find it. To keep the peace the
dark ones keep their own counsel among the shadows, in places like the Cavern of
Despair where only those brave-hearted, intrepid travelers dare to set foot in.
At the side of Grandmum Willow and beneficiary of her vast wisdom is her
granddaughter, who will someday rule herself. Their closest friend, the Willow
of the Wisp, can usually be found close by. Trusted advisor and guardian to
grandmother and granddaughter, for a traveler to gain her blessing is no small
feat, for the Wisp is kind yet fickle."
